FIELD: air-proofness checking. SUBSTANCE: device has rotating drum provided with chambers 7 and caps 16 with drive for displacement. Leakage detector and system for pumping out and blowing of the chambers are connected with chambers 7 through gas distributor. Displacement drive of cap 16 is made in form of two levers 12 and 13 which are fixed by hinges at the same axis 10 and spring-loaded one relatively the other. Pusher 15 is fixed by hinges with cap 16 and mounted movable in lever 12 along longitudinal axis of chamber 16. There are two master cams which interact with roller 23 mounted onto lever 13 and with free end of pusher 15 correspondingly. After article is mounted in chamber 7, roller 23 rotates levers 12 and 13 according to the master cam and hands cap 16 above chamber 7. Then the second master cam lowers pusher 15 with cap 16 in the direction of chamber 7. Cap 16 is lowered down onto chamber 7 in flat parallel. After that operations of checking are carried out.
