FIELD: refrigerating engineering; domestic refrigerators with self-contained cooling and storage chambers for different temperatures. SUBSTANCE: temperature decrease in freezing compartment 2 causes temperature drop on condenser sections 5 and heat pipes. The latter start functioning. Working fluid evaporates from evaporation sections 8 of heat pipes under the action of heat released from refrigerated compartment 3. Steam goes to condenser section 5 and releases its heat to evaporator of freezing compartment 2 where it condenses into fluid and the latter drips into evaporation section 8. Evaporation sections 8 of heat pipes have taps with plates attached to them to form shelves for holding food. EFFECT: reduced metal input and power requirement. 2 dwg
