FIELD: organic chemistry. SUBSTANCE: method involves interaction of 1-(4-chlorophenoxy)-1-(1,2,4-triazolyl-1-yl)-3,3-dimethylbuta- ne-2-one with aluminium isopropylate following by hydrolysis of aluminium derivative at 60 C in neutral medium. Triadimenol is isolated together with aluminium hydroxide formed at hydrolysis following by drying at 70 C for 1 h. Activity of prepared preparation is increased by 20-55% against fusariose, helminbosporiose, alternariose and root rot of seedlings as compared with that of triadimenol.
