FIELD: organic chemistry. SUBSTANCE: synthesis is carried out by reaction of ammonium thiocyanate and benzoyl chloride in the presence of acetone. The process is followed by separation of ammonium chloride and by treatment of filtrate with 9-amino1-methyl-3,6-diazohomo adamantane. The latter process takes place in acetone and it is followed by treatment mixture with potassium hydroxide and by isolation of desired product. Compound having essential formula C11H20N4S is prepared by yield 85 its melting point being 225-227 C. Compound having essential formula C16H22N4S is prepared by yield 68 its melting point being 208-209 C. Compound having essential formula C12H22N4S is prepared by yield 54 its melting point being 212-213 C. Proposed compounds decreases optical density of fog 1.5-2 times; sensitivity and degree of contrast of photographic materials being unchanged.
