FIELD: gas and oil producing industry. SUBSTANCE: pulse pressure generator for wells has tubular body 1 which may be located in axial channel of powder charge or outside. Body tubes are interconnected by means of coupling. Ignition unit is located in upper powder charge and consists of electric squib 4 with wires 5. Squib is embedded in powder charge with the aid of sealing compound 6. Located between powder charges are retarding charges 7 of low-gas composition. Bottom plate 8 is screwed on tube in generator bottom part. Powder charges are spaced from one another at distance of not less than charge diameter, and end faces of retarding charges are sunk in recesses of powder charges. EFFECT: higher efficiency of pressure effect on formation by control of amplitude-time characteristics of successive pressure pulse and higher reliability of successive operation of charge and simplified design. 2 dwg
