FIELD: manufacture of heat exchangers. SUBSTANCE: annular groove is made on surface of each hole in tube plate. Grove width is selected depending on wall thickness of tube. Tube with blasting agent charge and detonating fuse affording charge initiation is installed in hole. Annular groove center is positioned at distance from charge detonation initiation in tube making up 0.7 of charge length. Tube is secured by means of its expansion in tube plate hole with energy produced during charge explosion. EFFECT: improved strength and tightness of tube joint. 1 dwg
