FIELD: hardware components for producing the magnetic fields. SUBSTANCE: inductor is made in the form of two flat wraps 1 and 2 made of copper silver-plated strip and aligned in parallel planes. One of the ends of both flat wraps 1 and 2 lying opposite to each other are rigidly interconnected by C-shaped electric conducting bus 3, and the other ends of flat wraps 1 and 2 lying opposite to each other are separately connected to a pair of feeder buses 4 and 5 intended for connection of the inductor to an external pulse current source. During operation of the inductor the hard magnetic specimen in the form of ring or its part (sector) that is subject to magnetization is introduced in gap 6 of the inductor - in its interior between flat wraps 1 and 2 in alignment with the latters, and separate feeder buses 4 and 5 of the inductor get connected to the output terminals of the external pulse current source, which feeds the inductor with discharge current.
