FIELD: chemical technology. SUBSTANCE: method involves interaction of titanium (IV) soluble salt with alkali in the presence of iron (III) salt at the mole ratio of Fe (III) Ti (IV) in solution 0.20-0.28. Formed precipitate is converted to the phosphate ion-exchange form by its treatment with phosphorus compound solution at the mole ratio P (V) to Ti (IV) 0.7-1.4 and at pH 1.5-3.5 followed by precipitate granulation, its calcination at 570-590 C for 4-6 h. Before sorbent utilization in ion-exchange cycle desorption of phosphate ions is carried out with 0.5-1 M alkali solution, for example, with NaOH. EFFECT: improved method of synthesis. 2 tbl
