METHOD OF NOBLE METALS EXTRACTION FROM ACID IRON-BEARING SOLUTIONS Russian patent published in 1996 - IPC

Abstract SU 1812806 A1

FIELD: hydrometallurgy. SUBSTANCE: solution, that has components of iron, gold (4.87 mkg) or other noble metals (13.59 mkg), is alkalized by ammonia or ammonium carbonate. Suspension of finely divided lead is introduced in the solution. Using separate portion of suspension, filtering carrier is prepared. Formed suspension, that has iron and noble metals, is filtered through produced carrier. Sediment on the filter is slowly added with solution of hydrochloric acid mixed with finely divided lead till full dissolving of ferric hydrolysis. Gold is concentrating in sediment. Extraction of gold is equal to 99.8 %, mixture of noble metals extraction is equal to 98.5 %. EFFECT: simplified process of noble metals extraction. 1 tbl
