BUFFERING AND SYNCHRONIZING SYSTEM FOR PROCESSING CONTINUOUS SIGNALS Russian patent published in 1996 - IPC

FIELD: radio and computer engineering; remote-acting locators. SUBSTANCE: system has input pulse shaper, monitoring oscillator, flip-flop, first multiplexor, first and second metering counters forming high-frequency unit incorporating group of six pulse shapers, second and third multiplexors, timer, controlled frequency divider, switching unit, two storage assemblies of buffer storage unit, and main storage unit. Data input and trigger input are connected to locator receiver. Data inputs of initial loading, status flags, mode-of-operation job and data output are connected to computer via parallel-exchange interface. System is program-controlled. Its parts are checked for serviceability during test mode. In processing mode, storage units and assemblies are loaded with programmable space-scanning parameters and output synchronizing signal parameters. In work simulation mode, system is checked for serviceability at boundary frequency. Measurement mode is started upon arrival of PROBE signal at trigger input and pulse stream at data input; it terminates by arrival of INTERRUPT WANTED signal. System may be found useful for lidars as remote investigator of atmosphere parameters to facilitate weather prediction, environment control, etc. EFFECT: enlarged functional capabilities due to provision for varying parameters of output signals. 3 cl, 6 dwg
