METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR CLEANING AIR OF AIRCRAFT PRESSURE CABIN FROM DUST Russian patent published in 1996 - IPC

Abstract SU 1825068 A1

FIELD: air-conditioning systems. SUBSTANCE: method involves delivering air flow from the side of inlet branch pipe to first rectification stage, where air flow is cleaned from coarse dust particles in the process of passage through cyclones due to air-flow vortex in screw-type blades and as a result of interaction between coarse dust particles with metal rods; providing coagulation of dust particles and discharge through dust discharge branch pipes; delivering air flow through nozzles to second rectification stage, which is formed as replaceable cassette; providing final cleaning of air flow from dust. Clean air is supplied to pressure cabin. EFFECT: improved air purification and enhanced reliability in operation. 5 dwg
