SUBSTANCE: scanning of points within the character location column is carried out due to summation of the moments of momentum of two initial ink drops injected by two jet-type heads. Two drops, colliding in the recorder focus, form a joint drop continuing its flight to the information carrier in trajectory along the vector of the sum of projections of the moments of momentum of the initial ink drops. The recorder control unit provides for successive printing of column points saving the printing time due to a quick look ahead and exclusion of points that do not participate in recording from the print cycle, which enhances the information recording speed.
