FIELD: commercial fishery. SUBSTANCE: trawl system has trawl whose mouth is made in form of quadrangle, upper and lower cables, wire ropes stays connected to trawl and wire ropes by means of guys; trawl is formed by means of four equal-sized plates (two upper plates and two lower plates); cables are connected to trawl at points of connection of front edges of upper plate with upper plate and one lower plate with other lower plate; guys for securing the stays are secured to trawl at points of connection of front edges of upper and lower plates and to points of connection of cables and wire rope for changing the points of attachment and length of guys. Area of trawl beams of four-plate trawls may be reduced by 2 to 4 times and working range of adjustment of horizontal and vertical expansion may be increased by 10 to 15% with no loss in area of mouth. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of fishing through reduction of spreading force of stays, extended range of adjustment of trawl mouth parameters with no reduction in its area. 3 dwg
