METHOD OF CHECKING CONTINGENCY OF CURVED SURFACES Russian patent published in 2006 - IPC G01B5/28

Abstract SU 1839850 A1

FIELD: aircraft and space engineering.

SUBSTANCE: method comprises choosing on the surfaces to be checked two end reference points that define the reference straight line, choosing checking points on the curves surfaces with a given interval, measuring the distance between the reference straight line and checking points, and determining the approximating curves that describe the contour of the surfaces to be checked from the results of the measurements. One end reference point is located on one conjugated surfaces to be checked. The additional reference point is located in the space between the surfaces. At least three checking points on each of the conjugated surfaces are located between the corresponding end point and additional reference point. The first checking point is located at the boundary of the space. The intervals between the checking points should be larger or equal to the interval between the additional reference point and the first checking point. The approximating curves are extrapolated, and contingency is determined from the formula Δ = |F(x) - F'(x)|, where Δ is the value of contingency of curved surfaces to be checked at the additional reference point and F(x) and F'(x) are the interpolation Newton polynomial for unequally spaced nodes of interpolation for each conjugated surface.

EFFECT: expanded functional capabilities.
