FIELD: radio engineering; data transmission along radio communication channels.
SUBSTANCE: device can be used in wideband communication systems. Device has unit for forming copies of transmission signals, multipliers, integrators, amplitude detector, search unit, threshold former, first, second and third subtracting units, delay phasing unit, unit for forming copies of data signal, comparison circuit, decision making unit, adder, synchronous detectors, integrators, multiplier, switch, control shift signal former and π/2 phase shifter. Circuits for extracting estimation of temporal position of information and synchronous signals are introduced into device; correlation channels with synchronous detection are used for the purpose. Amplitude detector forms error in estimation of temporal position of received signal being proportional to modulus of noise component vector. Synchronous detector forms error being proportional to projection of noise component vector onto axis of sinus at small s/n ratio, i.e., at normal operation of time discriminator. As phase of vector of noise component of input signal is distributed according to uniform law, the relative benefit of discriminator with synchronous detector in relation to discriminator with amplitude detector for level of noise component equals to π/2 at τ of error being equal approximately to 0 during estimation of temporal position of received signal.
EFFECT: improved noise immunity while receiving wideband signal.
