FIELD: electronics.
SUBSTANCE: transporting device contains useful signal channels, magnetic heads, disks, gear train and a shaft. Magnetic carrier used in the device is made, for example, in form of a cylinder moving along a coaxial axis and having longitudinal magnetic recesses, in parallel to each of which a rotating shaft is mounted with number of disks with reproduction heads twice exceeding the number of used channels. Other disks with recording heads are positioned between aforementioned disks. Movement of carrier in axial direction is realized by means of, for example, an electromagnet.
EFFECT: simplified design, possible construction of multi-channel systems consisting of up to 40 and more channels with maintained synchronism of recording and reproduction.
