SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in receivers. The apparatus includes an amplifier and a frequency doubler connected to the output of said amplifier, a comparator circuit connected to the input of a logic circuit, wherein outputs of the amplifier and the frequency doubler are connected through spectrum width measuring devices to inputs of the comparator circuit, the output of the amplifier is connected through a threshold detector to the second input of the logic circuit, the output of the threshold detector is connected through a reset pulse former to control inputs of the spectrum width measuring devices.

EFFECT: obtaining information on signal modulation parameters.
