FIELD: radio engineering, communication.
SUBSTANCE: apparatus comprises parallel-connected frequency deviation measurement channel and frequency-modulation feature selection circuit, a channel for determining the number of phase changeovers and a phase-modulation feature selection circuit. The apparatus also includes three switches and an OR element, wherein outputs of the frequency deviation measurement channel and the channel for determining the number of phase changeovers are connected through a first and a second switch to inputs of the OR element. A third switch is connected at the output of the frequency-modulation feature selection circuit, the control input of the first switch is connected to the output of the third switch and the control inputs of the second and third switches are connected to the output of the phase-modulation feature selection circuit.
EFFECT: high reliability of determining the type of modulation.
