FIELD: radio engineering, communication.
SUBSTANCE: discriminator comprises series-connected first convolver, the control input of which is connected to the output of a short pulse generator, limiting amplifier, first frequency converter, first delay line, first adder, second convolver, the other input of which is connected to the input of the first convolver through series-connected second adder and second frequency converter, filter, envelope detector, threshold unit and resolver, wherein the second inputs of the first and second adders are connected to the input of the first convolver directly and through a second delay line, respectively. The device also includes a circuit which consists of series-connected additional envelope detector, third delay line, comparator unit and additional threshold unit, connected between the input of the first convolver and the additional input of the resolver, wherein the other input of the comparator unit is connected to the output of the envelope detector.
EFFECT: wider range of envelope durations when distinguishing signals.
