SUBSTANCE: invention relates to method of producing bistrinitroethylsulfidediacetate, characterised by that, in order to obtain low sensitive plasticizer for use in compositions of thermoplastic and plastic explosive substances and solid rocket propellants sulfide di-acetic acid esterification is carried out by trinitro ethanol sulphate containing 10 % excess of trinitro ethanol, at temperature 15-25 °C for 1.5-2.5 hours and at temperature of 55-60 °C for 1.5-2.5 hours with subsequent crystallisation of obtained ether from solution in ethanol.
