FIELD: metallurgy. SUBSTANCE: gear for electric pulse expanding of pipes of walls of cylindrical article has device for translation of electrode inside cylindrical article coupled to pulse current generator, mechanism for its registration along axis of article, driving mechanisms of angular of vertical translation of electrode. Gear is provided with crane mounted immobile base. Device for translation of electrodes consists of two parts. One part is fixed on mobile beam manufactured in the form of ring resting against butt of cylindrical article and coupled to mechanism of drives of angular and vertical translation of electrode, cylindrical guide anchored with one end in ring and which other end carries mechanism for registration of gear along axis of article. The other part is manufacture in the form of separable templet to adjust electrode to spacing between pipes mounted on intermediate technological support made fast to immobile support of crane. EFFECT: improved functional efficiency.
