FIELD: subsoil tillage. SUBSTANCE: tool has standard 1 with sweep 2 and two ripping members 3. Each member is a plate with one end secured on side of standard 1 and the other end on the end of wing of flat hoe 2 more distant from standard 1. Each member is arch-shaped in the lateral vertical plane with convexity facing the longitudinal axis of the working tool. Ripping plates 4 are mounted on ripping members 3 and wings of flat hoe 2. The front edge of each ripping plate is positioned at an acute angle relative to the working surface. In operation, the lower ends of ripping members 3 are lower than the root zone. They gradually become narrower closer to the row spacing middle, and they bypass the crop roots without damaging them. In addition to loosening soil in row spacings, plates 4 assure straight movement of the working tool in row spacing. EFFECT: higher efficiency; higher tillage quality. 2 cl, 4 dwg
