FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: method involves periodic agitation of components to be mixed by mixer actuator with variable angular speed. For this purpose intermittent rotary motion is applied to mixer shaft, components to be mixed are subjected to action of periodic forces and are brought into oscillatory motion in horizontal and vertical directions. Drive of mixer is made in the form of transmission with traction member. Transmission includes driving and driven pulleys and also elliptical tension pulley. Driving and tension pulleys are passed over by traction member and driven pulley is engaged with traction member depending on position of elliptical tension pulley. EFFECT: intensification of processes of mixing components and dissolving them in each other. 3 cl, 3 dwg
