FIELD: sports. SUBSTANCE: swimmer is placed in water in horizontal position. Through periodic lifting of the swimmer out of the water and shifting of the band knot embracing his body the center of gravity of the body is determined by attaining its equilibrium. Then, dynamometer is attached to the knot and the weight of the body partially immersed in water is determined. This value of the weight serves for determining initial lift of float. The float is secured in the center-of-gravity on the back of the body by means of flexible band. EFFECT: improvement of swimming technique. 1 cl, 8 dwg
