PART CLEANING MACHINE Russian patent published in 1994 - IPC

FIELD: railway transport. SUBSTANCE: cleaning machine intended mainly for cleaning locomotive wheelsets has washing chamber 1 with mechanism 2 to rotate wheelsets and washing member 3 with turning mechanism 4, tank 5 and pump 6 to deliver washing liquid. Machine has also hydraulic control valve and oil flow regulator coupled with the latter. Washing member is made in form of at least two rotary heads 7 with rigidly secured rocking pipelines 8 with nozzles 9 fitted on free ends of each pipeline. Each rotary head 7 has body in which thrust cup with shackle is installed. Shackle is used for connection with washing member turning mechanism made in form of three-position stepped rod mounted in body and spring-loaded at opposite sides. Turning mechanism body communicates with oil flow regulator through hydraulic control valve. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of cleaning of difficult-to-get at sections of complex shaped parts. 3 dwg
