SUBSTANCE: the invention is pertaining to the field of devices for treatment and washing by a liquid of internal surfaces of big tanks, in particular, railway and truck tanks used for storage and-or transportation of different products. The device for washing the tanks contains a stationary body with a branch pipe for the working liquid feeding, a mounted on the stationary body with a capability of rotation in respect to its axis washing head made in the form of a movable body, on which there is a nozzle head mounted with a capability to rotate around the axis perpendicular to the axis of the stationary body of the nozzle head with at least one nozzle. The nozzle head is made with a capable to create reaction torques. The washing head in addition contains a tool for creation of gyroscopic effect and rigidly connected with the indicated nozzle head. The invention ensures reliability of he device operation, a high efficiency of the cleanout and gyroscopic effect, and stable gyration of the washing head on small speeds.
