FIELD: heat-resistant materials in radio engineering, and matrices for ion-exchange materials. SUBSTANCE: styrene copolymers with fluoro-containing vinylthiobenzene derivatives of the general formula as given in the specification are prepared by radical copolymerization of styrene and fluoro-containing vinylthiobenzene derivatives. The starting decomposition temperature is 135-300 deg C with 7% weight loss at 300-350 deg C and the strength is 712-7437 kgf/sq. sm. EFFECT: improved properties of heat-resistant materials. 1 tbl
