FIELD: chemical industry. SUBSTANCE: described is new adhesive which is product of bulk thermocopolymerization of sytene with organic sulfide selected from group consisting of (E)-4-thio-2,5-hexadien-1-ol, 3- (vinylthio)-1,2-epoxypropane, 3,7-dithio-1,8-nonadien-5- ol and mixture thereof comprising 20 wt % of styrene copolymer of general formula I: wherein R is link (E)-4-thio-2,5-hexadiene-1-ol, m is 96-774, n is 113-190, R is link 3-(vinylthio)-1,2-epoxypropane, m is 72-600, n is 120-200, or cross-linked network styrene copolymer with 3,7-dithio-1,8-nonadien-5-ol containing 238-1595 styrene links, or mixtures thereof and 80% of polymerization mixture as adhesive. EFFECT: improved strength characteristics of adhesive and much lower toxicity and wider applications thereof. 16 ex, 2 tbl
