FIELD: production of nonwoven material. SUBSTANCE: device comprises conical nozzle 1 with central channel 2 for delivery of polymer melt, said channel having spinning hole 3 at the end. Conical casing 4 fitted around said hole forms, together with conical nozzle 1, a conical swirl chamber 5 accommodating air swirler 6 in the form of circular groove communicating with the line of compressed air entering into swirl chamber 5 through holes 7 which are set at the same angle 8 of inclination to the axis of spinning hole 3 and are coaxial therewith. Disposed in conical nozzle 1 is a removable conical end-piece 9. Polymer melt flows under pressure from extruder into melt delivery channel 2 then is extruded through spinning hole 3 into near-mouth space as a thin jet which is stretched by conical casing 4 coming out of conical hole 12 into a fiber oriented in the form of a spiral whose coils are perpendicular to direction of jet movement, and is cooled.
