FIELD: peat extraction technology. SUBSTANCE: during motion of machine over field, peat particles are acted on by air stream of suction cone directed to side opposite to machine motion. Velocity of air stream along suction cone varies to be reduced as distance from nozzle opening rises to form two zones: zone of low velocities and zone of high velocities. During machine motion, peat particles being at rest in spread layer, first, proved to be in zone of low velocities and acquire initial velocity. In course of picking up, particle velocities rise under the action of high velocity zone. In this case particle velocity at nozzle inlet increases. Besides, particle velocities rise also due to motion of particles and nozzle towards each other, that provides for accurate picking-up of peat from spread layers. During picking-up, nozzle moves over picked-up strip that precludes mechanical action on dry layer of peat. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 6 dwg
