FIELD: means for protection of human body. SUBSTANCE: jacket is comprised of moisture-proof shirt 1, flexible laminated protective pack of high-strength fabric 2, a set of armor plates 3 secured in mounting board 4, said armor plates 3 overlapping one another in mounting board 4 and having shackles 5 fitted around part of contour of armor plates 3. There is provided an additional pad 6 made of laminar pack of high-strength fabric installed in brerast area, sewn up by parallel rows of intermittent stitches. Said stitches form partitions like those of a slit spring. Pockets of mounting board 4 for installation of armor plates 3 overlap one another and are sewn up by a double stitch which forms a hollow between said stitches. Said hollow accommodates a flexible rope located at the overlapping points of armor plates 3. EFFECT: higher flexibility of jacket and enhanced protection against bullets, piercing and cutting objects. 5 cl, 3 dwg
