The frame has posts 5-10 which are fixed to it at the zone of cross beam 3 and to ends of longitudinal beams 1, 2, 4 facing one side opposite to cross bar 3. Posts 9, 10 are positioned at an obtuse angle to the longitudinal beams to provide access to a spare wheel in hatchback-type cars. Means for fastening instruments to the frame are mounted on free ends of longitudinal beams 1 on their upper or lower surfaces. The fastening means are made in the form of plate 14 with threaded rods 15. Members for fastening the frame to the car body are fastened to the ends of posts 6, 8, 10 and are made in the form of plate 16 with holes 17 for a threaded joint.
