FIELD: sanitary and industrial wastes treatment. SUBSTANCE: process involves sewage aeration and successive two-stage filtering through a porous filter bed. At the first stage aeration is carried out by supplying water upwardly. At the second stage an oxidizer is fed in the amount of 4-7 mg/l into the lower part of the porous filter bed. The latter is in the range of 0,63-1 mm in diameter. The level of water purification is 93% on suspended particles. EFFECT: enhanced quality of water treatment. 2 tbl
