FIELD: engine engineering. SUBSTANCE: apparatus has gas mixer and homogenizer 8 made of a passage which has rectangular cross-section and two sections 9,10 one of which is concentrically positioned within mixing chamber 2 and the other one is positioned tangentially to the first one. Both sections are ended with cylindrical surface 11 formed of a right angle circular cylinder whose axis is parallel to the axis of mixing chamber 2. Spraying openings 4 have rectangular cross-section and are parallel to a plane tangential to the surface of the mixing chamber. Surfaces 12,13, which are parallel to the axis of the mixing chamber, are positioned so that each of them is tangential to corresponding imaginary cylindrical surface and to an equidistant surface of an imaginary cylinder with radius equal to radius of surface 11 made of right angle circular cylinder. Radii of the imaginary cylindrical surfaces are not the same. Passage 14 for supplying gas-air mixture to homogenizer 8 is parallel to its tangential section 10. Outlet of passage 14 is located at concentric section 9 near tangential section 10. EFFECT: enhanced quality of homogenization. 3 cl, 2 dwg
