FIELD: mechanical engineering; internal combustion engines. SUBSTANCE: carburetor has body with through channel and mixing chamber and homogenizer. The latter is made in form of atomizing heads, each provided with tangential channel, swirl chamber with open outlet hole pointed in direction of air flow; tangential channel communicates with swirl chamber. Atomizing heads are installed: in outlet channel of accelerating pump, axis of swirl chamber outlet hole forming angle of 0-75 degrees with axis of through channel; in outlet channels of economizer and econostat, axes of outlet holes of swirl chambers forming angle of 0-60 degrees with axes of chambers and venturis of carburetor; in outlet channel of progression idling system, axis of outlet hole of swirl chamber forming angle of 15-75 degrees with axis of mixing chamber in outlet channel of main atomizer, and axis of outlet hole of swirl chamber forming angle of 0-15 degrees with axis of smaller venturi. Dimensions of atomizing head are represented in the following view: d - diameter of tangential channel is equal to diameter of fuel jet, or cross section area of tangential channel is equal to sum of cross section areas of fuel and air jets, or area of section of tangential channel is equal to cross section area of main atomizer; 1-4d-inner diameter of swirl chamber; 4-10d-height of swirl chamber.
