PIVOTED CONNECTION OF LEVER-TYPE HOLDERS Russian patent published in 1994 - IPC

FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: pivoted connection has two levers provided with ends, matted along flat surfaces, and through axially alined openings, working friction member with through axial opening, and threaded member with a nut received in the through coaxial openings of the levers for rotation with respect to one of them and rigidly connected to the other one. The working friction member is made of a stack of two groups of flat ring spacers-washers. The first group is rigidly secured to the threaded member and the second one to the lever which is mounted for rotation with respect to the threaded member. The outer surface of the levers is provided at least one hollow which receives the stack of the spacer- washers provided with a nut. The rigid connection of the threaded member with one of the levers and with the first group of the spacers-washers is made of mutually matted projections of the lever and washers of the stack with longitudinal grooves of the threaded member. The projections are made on walls of the lever openings and walls of the openings of the first washer group which consists of the first washer from the side of an adjusting nut and each consequent one by turn. The outer side surface of the second washer group, which consists of the second washer from the side of the adjusting nut and each consequent one by turn, is provided with projections. The side wall of the hollow has a groove. The projections are received in the groove. Diameter of the adjusting nut is equal to diameter of the spacers of the washers. EFFECT: improved design. 6 dwg
