FIELD: power engineering. SUBSTANCE: pressure regulator has case 1 which is part of return piping, internal case 3 accommodating piston, seal between piston cowl 5 and internal case in the form of rubber box 11; throttling valve attached to piston has truncated cone 9 with hole 16 in top base with cowl 10 attached to it. Valve is provided with bypass line terminating in cylindrical throttling slit 17. Pressure within box 11 is maintained constant by means of hydraulic system which has throttles 20, 21, pressure setting element 22. Pressure within internal case is maintained constant by means of hydraulic system which has throttle 23 and pressure setting element 22. EFFECT: improved reliability of regulator affording hydraulic stability of return piping. 3 dwg
