Pyrethroid is applied in the form of solutions, suspensions, emulsions, microemulsions, gel, dry gel, wetting powder, dust, paste, foam, film, aerosol, and on a suitable solid carrier in the form of a pencil, chalk, bar, gas-filled plastics, or attached to clothing in the form of a pyrethroid-covered band, ribbon or ring.
