FIELD: metallurgy. SUBSTANCE: concentrate is fed by two stages: at the first stage 70-78% concentrate of its consumption per a melt in the mixture with flux is fed following by pouring after working of slag formed with silicomanganese. At the second stage residual part of concentrate after chemical enriching in the mixture with flux is fed. After attainment of required silicon concentration metal together with slag is put out. Ratio of concentrate after chemical enriching and fresh-fired flux is maintained at the first and second stages ( 2,25-2,55): and (1,6-1,8): 1, respectively. At the second stage 1-2% pieced limestone or dolomite is added to the mixture concentrate/flux. All mixture is attached by portions. EFFECT: improved method of smelting. 3 cl, 2 tbl
