STITCHER ZIGZAG MECHANISM Russian patent published in 1994 - IPC

FIELD: tailoring industry. SUBSTANCE: mechanism has template unit, rockers mounted on levers which have posts and lockers. The levers interacts with keys made in form of two-arm levers with axis of oscillation. Each key is connected with two adjacent levers and has three fixing grooves which are used for interacting with head of spring-loaded locker. The latters are installed in cage for interaction with tooth of each lever. Mechanism also has frame provided with link which is kinematically connected with frame of needle driver, and device for turning off zigzag mechanism made in form of turn-off knob. This knob interacts with shank of a locker and with cage of lockers through two-arm lever with link. Rotation of any knob to one or other sides results to turning on of specific program, moreover, knobs may be turned on as simultaneously and in turn. All adjusted program may be rejected when pressing the knob. EFFECT: reduced number of turning-on knobs; excluded capability of turning on of two program simultaneously. 2 cl, 1 dwg
