FIELD: underwater mining. SUBSTANCE: suction pipe of suction-tube dredger has tines with protective mesh and throw-over valve. Valve is mounted on spindle at point of joint of tines with suction pipe. Tine shut off with throw-over valve lets stream of outside water pass in direction opposite to flow of hydraulic mixture in other tine. Direction of flows are changed periodically. Each tine is provided with water intake branch pipe with flap valve. Each of the latter is put on one axle with throw-over valve. Each water intake branch pipe communicates with one end to space of corresponding tine by means of opening made in wall of tine. The other end of water intake branch pipe communicates with water area of face. EFFECT: improved operational characteristics. 4 cl, 3 dwg
