FIELD: construction industry. SUBSTANCE: this method may also be used in mining industry. Salient feature of the method lies in limitation of dynamic forces emerging with sudden braking of dipper in face when digging while dipper moves with relatively high velocity. Studies show that with velocities of hoisting mechanism not exceeding 0.7 of rated values dynamic loads of digging do not exceed permissible values for lifting of dipper and movement of handle with velocity which is not in excess of 0.5 of rated value since forces arising under action of kinetic energy stored in moving parts of mechanism play considerable role in emergence of dynamic loads. Methods and gears to reduce dynamic loads turning up under condition of digging are known. EFFECT: increased reliability of mechanism. 1 dwg
