FIELD: electronics. SUBSTANCE: semi-washers have collars of definite shape used to attach current collecting parts of filaments of emitter. Flanged outer washer is set into socket of mandrel, emitter and filaments are put into cylindrical guide. Filaments are formed to their fitting to outer washer and to form-shaping rod. Inner washer is set on to this washer with flanged filaments. Third mandrel is used for two-stage pressing of mounted structure till plastic deformations emerge. Then blank of cathode is mounted on leads of stem and fastened washers are cut into two semi-washers. Process of manufacture of cathode is automated.
