FIELD: machine-tool manufacture; particularly multioperation automatic tool-changing machines. SUBSTANCE: device has body 1 made in the form of sleeve with socket for tapered shank of arbor 2. Drilled in the body at an angle to the arbor axis are holes accommodating balls 6 loaded by spring 5. The balls are engaged with mushroom-shaped generatrix of the end part 7 of the arbor. End part 7 id situated in self-aligning bushing having hole with chamfer facing the ball. Diameter of the hole is slightly smaller than diameter of the ball.
