FIELD: electrical engineering. SUBSTANCE: principal distinction of this process from well known method consists in simultaneous switching over of stator windings to reduce voltage across motor with control over semiconductor devices of valve converter, in continuous measurement of angle of shift between current and voltage in phase and in its comparison with the preset one. When this difference reaches zero value a signal for complete, blanking of semiconductor devices of valve converter is generated. EFFECT: increased reliability of control over operation of drive by reduction of mechanical and thermal loads on motor, expulsion of pickup from shaft of motor. 2 dwg
