FIELD: electrical engineering. SUBSTANCE: fixed reduced value of current frequency is established in such way that certain proportion V/f is obtained simultaneously with switching over of phases of stator and decrease of voltage. Value of current in winding of stator is compared with specified one and if result has negative sign angle of control over valves of converter is being increased till this result reaches zero value. EFFECT: increased efficiency of braking and precision of stopping thanks to growth of braking moment of motor and angle of shift between current and voltage in phase of motor. 3 dwg
