FIELD: domestic equipment. SUBSTANCE: vacuum cleaner has body, vortex dust catcher, dust collector, draught inducer and hose with intake tip. Vortex dust catcher has closed cylindrical chamber with nozzle and intake branch pipe, which are positioned in opposed relation one with respect to the other within closed cylindrical chamber. Nozzle and intake branch pipe are axially aligned one relative to the other and interconnected through channel. Closed cylindrical chamber and dust collector are mounted in body. Closed chamber is communicated with body cavity through slit diffuser. Hose with intake tip is tangentially connected to closed chamber. Nozzle is secured in closed chamber end wall in opposed relation with respect to slit diffuser. Draught inducer is mounted on body in axially aligned relation one with respect to the other and is spaced from closed chamber. EFFECT: increased efficiency of collecting dust and enhanced reliability in operation. 3 cl, 10 dwg
