FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: thigh prosthesis with outside source of power has a fixation mechanism, made as a double staged big diameter cylindrical drum, mounted on axis of knee hinge, and embracing belts. Leading branch of the belts, that embraces the big diameter cylindrical drum, is fixed to a shin case and running down branch of the belts is fixed to one of ends of equal arms two-arm lever, that is mounted on the base in the shin case. Leading branch of the belts, that embraces the smaller diameter cylindrical drum, is fixed to the opposite end of the lever. Running down end of the belt is connected with the lever, that is connected with a core of a solenoid, placed in the shin case. Mass and location of the solenoid with the core are equivalent to the balance load characteristics. An additional solenoid with a cave is fixed perpendicularly to the axis of the main solenoid. The additional solenoid core has a projection, the size of which does not exceed the size of the cave. EFFECT: thigh prosthesis is effective for lower extremities prosthesis making. 2 dwg
