GRAINY MATERIAL FILTER Russian patent published in 1994 - IPC

FIELD: dry cleaning of gas from dust. SUBSTANCE: filter has shell with tangential branch pipe, layer of grainy material between gills-type walls, outlet branch pipe connected with wall. Partition with vertical slots is mounted in space between wall and shell. Slot edges are flanged. Lower part of partition is formed as cone positioned in spaced relation to shell cone. Internal wall is formed as spring with rotating upper part, which is connected with rotational drive. Outer wall is formed as spring. Lower part of walls is positioned for displacement in vertical plane and is provided with drive. When filter is in operating state, gas flow is separated and directed through vertical slots, filtered through grainy material and directed to consumer through branch pipe.
