FIELD: apparatus for treating clay. SUBSTANCE: installation has a mixer with charging and discharging branch pipes; extruding grid; drying device in the form of a body with charging and discharging holes and a working member; jacket, connecting the drying device with the mixer. An auger with a shaft is mounted in the housing of the mixer. The installation is provided by loosening device, rigidly mounted on the shaft in the housing jacket. The extruding grid is mounted with possibility of motion along an axis of the shaft between the auger and the loosening device. The housing of the drying device is mounted with possibility of rotation and it is inclined relative to horizon to side of the charging branch pipe of the mixer. The working member is in the form of helical blades, secured to an inner surface of the housing of the drying device. The blades are mutually joined by longitudinally arranged members.
